Responsible Service of Alcohol Policy
- All staff supplying alcohol at Kiama Leagues Club to any person must have undertaken legislated responsible service of alcohol training and possess a current Class A Competency card.
- Staff are required to have their competency card available to show Inspectors or Police during work times.
- Bar trade within club premises will cease at a minimum time of 11:30pm, Sunday – Thursday. (or later at management discretion)
- Bar trade within club premises will cease at a minimum time of 12:30am, Friday & Saturday. (or later at management discretion)
- Kiama Leagues Club does not sell multiple (double or more) nips of spirits or liqueurs (port excluded) or shots. Drinks on ice may be allowed at the management’s discretion.
- At times the Club will introduce a two-drink purchase per patron maximum, when management deem appropriate.
- No wine bottles will be sold after midnight on any day of the week.
- Takeaway alcohol sales are only permitted until 10pm, 7 days a week. No takeaway sales will be permitted on Good Friday.
- The club does not allow the ‘stock piling’ of alcoholic beverages. Patrons may have a maximum of one drink in their possession at all times. Unattended drinks will be cleared away by staff. Kiama Leagues Club does not permit the practice of ‘stock piling’ drinks.
- Patrons are not permitted to use other member’s cards when purchasing items within the club.
